Man-machine 2

Man Machine 2 is a collaboration between us, The National Museum of Science & Technology and The Interactive Institute. Three artists, Ebba Matz, Christian Partos and Matti Kallioinen, were during the fall given the task of creating interactive installations on the theme of man-machine. Together with two other engineers we helped the artists with ideas, technology and construction. The result is on display at the museum until April 2008.

Organismens drömvärld och näringskjedja

Together with David & Erik, Matti created an inflatable scenery. Accompanied by video and sound you use your own lungs to blow air into the huge white structures.

Space Camping

Using the geodesic dome construction Ebba Matz wanted to make a experience for all the senses. A sunspot plays the lead part and comes to life through sound, light and projections. The sunspot reacts to human presence inside the dome, it sometimes embraces the visitors but sometimes does everything to make them go away.

Hjärtat

Christian found a pacemaker in the museums collections and from it he got the inspiration to build a beating heart. The idea is to get the visitor to really wonder how the beating mechanism work since it seems almost magical a the first glance. See the blood pump and hear the atmospheric beat, all with the help of pressure and a huge fan.
