Lights is an installation / performance that consists of four light bulbs that each start a sound loop when they are turned on. The lights flash in sync with the loop they are playing. Lights was premiered at the Interactive Institute 10 year anniversary as an performance. MIDI from the openFrameworks application is used to start and stop loops, and <a href="http://www.cycling74.com/products/soundflower">Soundflower</a> to internally route audio from Ableton to openFrameworks. Visual Voltage is a exhibition about energy from an art and design perspective. It's produced by <a href="http://www.si.se/">Svenska Institutet</a> and <a href="http://www.tii.se/">The Interactive Institute</a>. We helped out with two of the three art installations done by <a href="http://www.tinafinnas.com">Tina FinnÃƒÂ¤s</a>, <a href="http://www.tore.nilsson.net/">Tore Nilsson</a> & <a href="http://www.stevendixon.net/">Steven Dixon</a>. Man Machine 2 is a collaboration between us, <a href="http://www.tekniskamuseet.se">The National Museum of Science & Technology</a> and <a href="http://www.tii.se">The Interactive Institute</a>. Three artists, Ebba Matz, Christian Partos and Matti Kallioinen, were during the fall given the task of creating interactive installations on the theme of man-machine. Together with two other engineers we helped the artists with ideas, technology and construction. The result is on display at the museum until April 2008. <h2>Organismens drÃƒÂ¶mvÃƒÂ¤rld och nÃƒÂ¤ringskjedja</h2><p>Together with David & <a href="http://www.eriksjodin.net">Erik</a>, <a href="http://www.mattikallioinen.com">Matti</a> created an inflatable scenery. A sunspot plays the lead part and comes to life through sound, light and projections. Together with the ultra-talented VJ <a href="http://www.fictionform.com/">Johan Holm</a> we helped <a href="http://www.corneliadahlgren.com/">Cornelia Dahlgren</a> with a simple interactive element for her new live show. We hacked an old marching drum so that it instead of just being a drum now can talk midi and trigger both audio samples and visuals. 5

Strings is the maybe the worlds largest mixer and in addition to that, completely wireless. With an active area of about 15 square meters the crowd is given full control over the constant flowing music. By pulling one of the ten different strings you will control one of ten parameters, in this implementation a corresponding fader on a virtual mixer. A LED is attached to every string which indicates the level of the fader. The ten LEDÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s are all tracked by an optical device and the positions are then translated to MIDI. <i>Photo by Vincent Lau</i> 9

In this project we aim to explore how you can visualize the changes of your web identity over time and create a physical link between your virtual and real identity. The interface consists of both a physical table and a web application. This direct feedback from your web identity is customizable and can be connected to any <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rss_feed">RSS feed</a>. <b>Update:</b> What you see is the first prototype version of Wable. Out of the Box is a modified toy where each of the geometric figures are represented by a sound and an animation. By putting down the figures in the box the user can experiment with different combinations of sound and moving images. <i> We have conducted several successful user tests presenting Out of the Box to children in the age group of 7-15 to evaluate if it is to be presented at the interactive exhibitions at the <a href="http://www.tekniskamuseet.se">National Museum of Science and Technology</a>. </i> <h2>Video from Uutiset / Helsinki</h2><p>We visited the <a href="http://www.pixelache.ac">PixelACHE festival</a> in the end of April -07 and there we did a small video jam performace using OOTB.
