Through Good Old Trend I found this really interesting post at Next Web.

With our project comments.se we have explored location based communication by connecting semacodes with the most simple web app ever using unique URLs. We used the semacode since it comes with a simple (but quite sucky) java application that works on a lot of different mobile phones. Moseycode is another type of barcode developed for Google´s Android that definitely enhances the experience when reading barcodes with a mobile phone.

It´s interesting to see the rapid development of mobile barcoding and we really believe in it here at the lab. We just hope that someone (maybe that´s us) will engage in developing a standard for it since it´s quite hard to understand for users at the moment.
